Presented by Fiona Marlow, the result was "The
Haunted Bay", a 70-minute long documentary encompassing the entire
history of the village of Kimmeridge, Smedmore Estate and Kimmeridge
Bay, from prehistory to the modern day.
Kimmeridge is famous for its smugglers and ghosts,
and since 1978 has been home to Britain’s first voluntary marine reserve,
the Purbeck Marine Wildlife Reserve.
